Grow Grass Anywhere

Really not too much interesting going on. The kids have been alternately staying at different relatives houses and that makes our home a little quieter. Eric's new "surrogate son" Chris has been responding very well to a positive male influence. He's 15 and walks his siblings here for us to watch in the evenings while his mom works. He just stays then, which is a good thing. He is a very polite child who has been through a lot of "stuff." He just passed his eighth grade equivalency testing which will allow him to enter high school this year making it further than his father (who is incarcerated for life) ever did. He has so much potential and I am glad my boys and husband are influencing him positively. He has a GREAT mom, so I guess he doesn't really "need" me, but for an example of a complete family structure. Anyway, enough is enough. Chris, if you ever read this I am so proud of you and thank God that he brought you and your brothers into our lives. You teach us more than we will ever teach you. Be grateful for every day and thank God for each and every blessing, they are NOT small.
